Artist Banksy, whose identity remains a mystery is considered one of the world’s most political artists. Banksy has gained fame for his street works, which often combine spray paint and stenciling techniques with commercial, political, and contemporary images. Banksy’s work has been found on the sides of buildings, billboards, and city walls from London to New York, from Jamaica to the Gaza strip.
The Art Of Banksy London was the largest and exclusive exhibition showcasing Banksy's artworks. The entire collection is privately owned and is on loan from private collections for public viewing. Located in Covent Garden on display were Prints, sculptures, screenprints, canvasses, unique works and limited-edition pieces are on exhibit. Banksy made these artworks between 1997-2008. This period resulted in Banksy’s most recognisable and well-known works.
Also on display were a few lesser-known, original and unique works on canvas, wood and paper. More than 50 original and authenticated Banksy artworks were on display. Showcasing the iconic pieces like True Love, Winnie the Pooh, Grin Reaper, Monkey Queen, TV Girl and Rude Copper.
